My Departure Board — Terms of Service

Please read these terms (“Terms”) before using My Departure Board (“the app”). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What the app does

My Departure Board shows live and scheduled departure information for Great Britain’s National Rail network, on your device and home-screen widget. It is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by National Rail Enquiries, Network Rail, or any train operating company.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer accepts no liability for any loss or inconvenience arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app — including (without limitation) missed trains or connections, delays, additional costs, or missed appointments — whether caused by inaccurate, incomplete or unavailable data, service interruption, or otherwise.

4. Availability

The app depends on third-party data feeds and internet connectivity. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability and may change, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app or its servers — and to use it only for personal, non-commercial journey planning.

6. Intellectual property

Rail data is owned by its respective providers (National Rail Enquiries, Network Rail and their licensors) and used under licence — see “Data Sources” in the app. The app, its design and software are owned by the developer.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. The “last updated” date above shows the current version.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
